<B>2003 Mercedes-Benz CLK Class</B><P>I have never really been a fan of the CLK's, but the 3/4 view of this new one reminds me a lot of the Volvo C70 Coupe, plus the similar wheel design. I dunno...beside the fact that you need loads of $$$ to afford a faster version of CLK, I never dislike it. It's been one of my favorites until every women on the road starts to drive one like it's a Civic.<P>You gotta love those brake rotors~!!! Sickening huge~~~!

I have to admit, the current CLK55 AMG is one bad-arse ride, but for $69,115? I feel that money is better spent on a new BMW M5 at $69,500.<P> <IMG SRC="http://www.mbusa.com/brand/image/models/CLK55C_main.jpg"> <P>-Drew

Well, both proformance names are great. AMG has done wonders with all the Mercedes line-up. And the M versions are oh so nice! I actually want to see what BMW has in store for a M version X series.

Brabus was more or less the hardcore tuner for the Benz.<P>Even though the 4.6L X5 is closest to an M version you can get, the Le Man version is under development. Maybe Drew can dig up some more news and share with us on that topic.<P>

I too like the C32.. so much that I got one about two months ago and have been lovin it every minute. I just sent back my S80, and kept the 940SE with the new Benz. It is a totally different experience than any other car I have owned. Truly amazing and lightning fast. There are very few cars on the road that can move this quick and this agile... and oh yeah.. it has four doors. But that new CLK is gonna be hot. Very aggressive stance much like the rest of the C series. I cant say I miss the S80 although for comfort it rocked.

How much of a size difference is the c32 to a s40? I parked next to a new C-class and both looked about the same, except for the front interior. Either the Mercedes is roomier in the front or they got smaller seats. Must be those huge head supports known in Volvo cars.
