2002 WRC Rally-Sweden Volvo S60!
I don't have very much information about this car, but it is probably run and owned by someone in one of the non-professional classes. WRC is my favorite motorsport by far. Great action and fun!

-Drew

*Note to self: Never buy a white S60 from a Swede... esp. if he says, "only driven on Sundays."*
Kudos to whoever that is, getting to go play in the slush!

That reminds me of the Pikes Peak hill climb. One of the drivers bought an AWD Porsche Turbo from a local guy in Colorado and drove it in the race. It was pretty funny when the driver of the car said something to the effect of "this Porsche was his pride and joy" and "I hope he's not watching!" Imagine seeing your always-garaged, sunny-day-only Porsche going sideways around turns, slinging gravel and dirt everywhere!

...love them Volvo's and all but can a S60 really compete with those Fords, Peugeuts, Subarus and Hyndai's?
Isn't the S60 like A LOT heavier?

This is a UK registered S60AWD which I would say is one of the cars that the Ford team drivers are using this year for recceing and pace note writing on WRC events.
Don.Norchi, Kalmar-Union.com

This seems to a cor for the rally officials.
I heard S60's were used to check if the track is clear before the race.

I think you guys are right, it is probably a gravel car that the Ford teams use to check the tracks ahead of time.
-Drew
