2002 Lexus GX470
Another Lexus SUV! Everything on the exterior is nice, except for the front. It kind of looks like a super-size RAV4. The interior is typical Lexus beautiful IMHO. I think that the wood and dark leather look great.

-Drew
[This message has been edited by InDy (edited 01-06-2002).]

The sad part is, few people I know who think they know enough about cars..actually didn't know that GS's headlight design as well as other subtle design bits were derived from the E-Class, its direct competitiion model. And they were critizing that MB copied it from the pLexus guys.
Speaking of lack of originality, I think Hyundai knows how to copy design bits from everyone. It'd take me more than few hours to finish talking about THEIR designs....

It takes Hyandai to make a compleate car that way.
Notice that there are very few Lexus cars sold in Europe. Despite the MB ripoffs, Lexus makes cars exclusively with the North American market in mind. The original LS400 was made with the US specifically in mind. They are nice cars to "ride" in, but no one who enjoys the feel of a European sedan will ever want to "drive" one.

Great, something else for soccer moms to troll around in while talking on their cell phone and feeding their infants and doing everything else that doesn't remotely include paying attention to the road

Have you ever noticed that the size of the SUV is inversely related to the size of the lady driving it. I was in a mall parking lot the other day and there was a woman driving an Excursion with no passengers that must of been 5'2" and 100 lbs.
No that's efficient. Hey, I'm 6'3" and an S70 and S60 fit me just fine.

I know this GX470 (hint hint..4.7L just like LX470..just like the engine in Tundra? ) might look slightly shorter and less bulkier than the Sequoia....but I have no doubt if this SUV is at least based on the Sequoia for the exterior and interior..and the engine. Probably the chasis is more similar to the Land Cruiser?
