I have a v70 that I bought about 2 weeks ago 154k on it. It is throwing code p0422 I tried to get the local parts store to clear it to see if it would come back. They wouldn't reset it. So does anyone have a recommendation for a Bluetooth obd2 scanner that works well for volvos? I am willing to spend 100 to 150. There are a few on Amazon not sure how good they are for the v70. Also I am sure there is lots of info for the code out there but any advice on it would be welcome.

For $150 you can own VIDA/DICE the correct scanner for every 99+ Volvo... A bluetooth OBDII scanner is like $50 on Amazon, just buy the one with the most reviews...

Any scanner will clear a standard code for a 2001.
Better yet, before you clear it, FIX IT!

My PO422 on the old 2001 V70t5 was 2 hoses to the charcoal canister. The shop "smoke" tests first to find the problem.

The check engine light went away with nothing being done. I had planned on going through the hoses this weekend but it went away before I got to it. I will probably buy DiCE soon. Thanks for the help.
