Our 2001 V70 T5M T5 had the original white label Magneti Marelli electronic throttle moas able to buy dule (ETM) and had never been changed under warranty according to my local dealer.

With 145 K on the odometer it began bucking and surging in high ambient stop and go driving, as well as flat
spotting under high load/high rpm e.g. pulling out of a toll booth.

Was able to buy a yellow label (updated version) from one of the members here for a very modest amount.
with less than 60 K miles on it, also from a V70 T5M. We were both concerned that the donar car
had had the full dealer recall performed including the software upgrade.

The newer ETM throttlebody bore was carefully cleaned and installed, and the car is running very well now.
No VIDA adjustments or trip to the dealer were required.

The (apparently) original white label ETM had code 1ALC9N31B with date code 01W021502
(indicating 2001 made, first two digits) with part number 8644346 and other codes 65CFM2 and AH.0002030.M.\

The newer "recall" yellow label Magneti Marelli part had code 410C4XDAF with
date code 05W451401 indicating 2005 built, week 45 (I think) with part number 8644347
and codes 65CFM-2 and AH.0012381.C

Hopefully this will be of hlep to other 2001 V70 and probably S60 T5 owners having manual transmissions.

Guess Firefox won't let me edit the above. For clarity both the donar and the recipient were 2001 V70 T5 manuals.
