1. Does anyone have a rear driveshaft for a 2000 v70r awd for sale? Not the axle but the driveshaft. I believe it is also called a prop shaft.

2. Do you know what other driveshafts might interchange?

3. Stupid question but is it possible for this part to fall off without knowing?

4. If someone were to remove this part why would they do that?

1. Call Erie Volvo they have used parts or Colorado drive shaft

2. Not sure but others will chime in

3. I wouldn't think so

4. I'm sure it was removed because the angle gear and collar sleeve can go bad

google it up, you will find a ton of info on this

Same as 00 Xc, late 99 XC-awd-r.

Fuel economy, component failure are usually why they’re removed. It would be very hard for the driveshaft to fall out it’s moderately captive even without any hardware attaching it.

Its DIY, but it is a massive pain in the ass.
