Hello..<br>Wifes car, has 75k miles on it... recently began to start hard..actually sputter..almost die then come back to life when cold...<br>it has yet to throw a cel or ets light<p>today while in traffic, it started to do the same sputter...almost die then come alive again<p>Any ideas???<br>If It were any other car I would look closely at the fuel pump <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vortexmediagroup.com/images/banghead.gif" BORDER="0"> <p>I keep the car serviced...filter(s) plugs ect.<p>Thanks in advance!<br>Tim

ETM.<br>Go to your dealer immediately before it just quits completely, (and your wife gets stranded and becomes VERY pissed at you for not bringing it in earlier).<br>(It's a free deal anyway)

not the maf then?<p>dealer asked if it has a check engine light on...No as I previously said ..<br>well we can look at it...blaaa <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vortexmediagroup.com/images/banghead.gif" BORDER="0"> <br>this is one reason I sold my 60R, great service <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthdown.gif" BORDER="0"> <p>will it throw a code and not light up the cel?

Every time I've had a MAF blurb, it throws a CEL IMMEDIATELY.<br>It still can drive OK for 95% of the time for a while but it should code.<br>Yours actually SOUNDS like a MAF problem but, as said, it should code, but it's a Volvo so nothing cast in stone <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/rolleyes.gif" BORDER="0">
