Wow! Congrats! Don't count on Volvo to send you any badges. I applied TWICE for the stupid "Heritage Club" (the new 100k club name) and never got anything.

Oh wait, maybe they sent my 2 badges to you! :p

What were some of the most costly maintenance/repairs you had to do thus far?
off the top of my head:
clutch
axles
ignition

much of the other maintenance/wear & tear stuff i was able to do myself.

Yessss, I've been waiting to see a thread like this. I was sure some of the P1's out there were coming of age. I've put 19k since February this year. I expect to see 250k min. Lets keep this thread alive!

EDIT: The Vo turned over 200k last year, and am just now getting around to update my post. It's currently sitting at ~230k. Still drive nicely, and I plan to continue driving it until i can't. This car has literally taken me all over the US and has been a composed and comfortable travel companion. Just upgraded to 320mm brakes and 302mm in the reat wth the madza5/v70 combo.

No major issues so far. I've always changed the timing belt diligently. Alternator and PCV have been replaced. The headliner is showing some age at this point.

Cheers

Congrats on making it to 200k miles as the original owner. I am surprised there aren't more people in the club. I bought my 05 AWD s40 new and am at 166k miles. At the rate I am going it will be 2016 before I hit 200k if the car is still around. Are you going for 300 ? The farthest I have gone is 351K on a car I bought brand new. I would like to hear a detailed maintenace report on what all you did to make 200k.

Great job at keeping it going Slasher!!! I can't believe it looks that good yet, my front looks like it has been sandblasted and the side mirrors don't even look like there is paint on them anymore...kind of flat blue colored now. They don't use salt on the roads up here, but they spread gravel mixed with sand...less rust, but the front of vehicles and windshields get roasted.
