So a while back I posted about using Eibachs made for the S60R. There was a user who had used them and said he had better results when using stock R springs on the rear of his 2.5T. I found a couple of people selling their R springs and am considering buying them. However, I did one last search and found some Eibachs that are supposedly made for the 2.5T (E10840040822). I am highly considering getting these, however I am a bit nervous because I know that they discontinued the lowering springs for the 2.5T. Would anybody be able to take a look at these for me before I drop almost $300 on them?

The one's I bought were for the S60R (but they do list the 01-09 2.5t AWD as compatible)

That exact part number I used, was Eibach SKU # 8434.14
(example here: https://www.vivaperformance.com/eibach-lowering-springs-s60-awd-s60r/ )

That e-bay link is international and doesn't list the same US market part number (E10-84-004-08-22) so it's hard to cross reference, Google came back blank for me as to which kit this is.

But in the past, Eibach did make a different version for our non R's but have long discontinued, those were listed as Eibach SKU # 8429.14

I'm actually at a full computer at the moment, here's the thread of my info, which I need to update w/ new photo's that aren't on photobucket....
