Hi guys I have just bought a 2005 2.4 T5 I haven’t access to my car yet but previous owner said there was a problem with the fuel pump, I am wondering are the pumps all the same as I can’t find one for the 2.4 T5 only the earlier 2.3 T5 inc the 2.4T Which is 8683328.

Does it drive OK. Check engine message on. Let us know what the car is doing or not doing when you get more info.
It can be other issues and not a fuel pump.
If it is a fuel pump,
We need more details about your car. V70, XC70, Plastic/metal fuel tank, what engine and/or engine number.
May need the emission code. For the US market the emission codes is the 8th digit in the VIN.
Not sure about non US markets.

Hi thank you ever so much for your reply, my car is the V70 2005 2.4 T5 I think they made this engine only for a couple of years inbetween the 2.3 and 2.5 so short manufacturing period.
It has a plastic tank and Euro 3 emissions
previous owner bought a secondhand pump unit but the housing arrived damaged so he said he drilled holes in it and not to let it go below 1/4 tank or it will cut out, so I am looking for another unit but can only find the 2.3 units that were fitted too the 2.4T as well Which are 3 bar 130 litre per hour.
hence why I need part number to cross reference things.
