I know for sure that the D5 is a Volvo engine, but I heard that the 2.0D is something from Ford-Peugeot. Is this still true?

Yes, the 2.0D is a Ford-Peugeot joint venture engine. The same goes for the 1.6D. Also, the 2.0, 1.8(F) and 1.6 derives from Ford.

hi<p>The D5 is a volvo design and is built in Skovde, Sweden by volvo. The 2.0D is a Ford-PSA design and is built for volvo and ford by volvo in skovde too.<p>The new 2.0D is a Ford-volvo project and will be built in Skovde too
