I just purchased a 99 V70R, for parts. I will be taking a few things(door sills, possibly the radio, and a few other cosmetic things). After that I would like to sell the car, a complete running car. It has 289K. The car is rough, runs rough, the body is in good shape with some dings and scratches that are pretty normal, front bumper is chipped and has a crack dead center. The passenger side doors have been repainted. The interior is in good shape, but the carpets and floor mats are shot(I dont think these people ever vacuumed it). Has good R door panels, seats, and dash w/center speaker as well as a good blue cluster. Wheels seem to have minimal curb damage, but have rust from the brakes , not sure if that would come off or not. The owner described it as having a bad vibration in the rear before he parked it, I think it is the rear driveshaft. The car is rough, rightfully so at 289k, but it would be good for someone looking to upgrade their interior and a few other upgrades. Plan on towing it, I do not think it would drive far without a complication. Looking for 1300 OBO. Pics can be seen at Craigslist ad below.
http://newyork.craigslist.org/....html

Re: 1999 V70R FOR PARTS COMPLETE CAR (JPMCT)

I have decided to back out on the deal, Im a college student and I just don't have the time to part it out or the space(My mom said NO to a parts car in the back yard). The guy I was going to buy it from, Paul, a real nice guy, he is in MA(Clarksburg to be exact). Call him directly. He was going to give me a really good deal, worth a drive up or a phone call.
http://westernmass.craigslist.....html
His number is on the ad. He is really good about returning phone calls and emails, and I think he works from home so he is always available. Sorry to back out on my ad but Id rather see someone who can do something good with it have it, and just cut out the middle man all together. If anyone ends up taking it and parting it out, I will definitely take some stuff off your hands(door sills, jack and wrench, perhaps the radio and the leather e brake cover too). Just let me know. Thanks!
