1998 Volvo V70 T5-M - Factory Manual 5 Speed Transmission (Interior and Exterior V70 R Clone)

Nautic Blue Metallic Exterior, Gray/Charcoal Interior

Purchased the car March 2013/170K Miles

October 2015/199k miles currently and is daily driven roughly 50miles per day.

Passed PA Inspection and Emissions July 2015

Transmission: smooth, no scratched gears during my ownership, clutch holds strong and is consistent. I was told the clutch was replaced around 131k miles.

Engine: strong, doesn't burn beaucoup amounts of oil, starts/runs smooth.

Interior: Non-smoker, clean!

Exterior: It's a 199k mile car. Hasn't received a single dent or scratch since my ownership but the previous owners didn't make it out as well… there are plenty of dents and scratches on this car - you will have to see in person.

You would be the third or fourth owner - I honestly don't know and this didn't matter to me when buying it a few years ago. I also don't know if there were any accidents reported (None during my ownership) but I have done enough work on the car to not notice anything out of place and the car aligns properly and I have no uneven tire wear etc. With that being said, I am more than happy to supply the VIN number!

The car is located in West Chester, PA 19382

Please PM me with questions, or general talk about the sale…

Swedespeed Special! $3,800 OBO

Some notes:

-Forgot to mention V70R Aluminum door sills installed as well

-Added power steering fluid this past week, was low.

-Also wanted to mention a rogue P0442 CEL over the summer hot months - could have been gas cap, which is now new.

New owner will get a box of some goodies as well including but certainly not limited to: oil filter, extra fog bulbs and HID bulbs/ballasts, corner lights, lenses etc.

Changed the oil Friday - Car is at about 199,500 miles

Currently fighting a power steering leak on this car now...

This car hates me. I post it for sale and then it tears the CV boots and now a passenger side power steering leak. My price has gone from $4,500 to start to...

New sale price: $3,000

I would buy if you were closer... i saw this ad a while back... looks like an awesome car but i no longer live near SE PA.. Bring it to denver.

I am all over this but I can't justify another car. Nowhere to put it and I'm 2 weeks away from finishing building my s70. If this was last fall I'd already have taken it home. Looking for a home for it

Here is a nice and long somewhat light hearted response, take it as you will...

Last known timing belt change was 131k miles; however, the water pump was replaced at 156k and I would hope the previous owner replaced the belt again at that time...

Last known clutch replacement was also 131k miles.

No known leaks, I park the car in the same spot everyday and there's nothing on the ground.

I do not have pictures of all the dents and scratches, there are too many. Imagine your typical 17 year old car with 200k miles... or think back to the last Volvo meet you have been too... this is on par with the majority of modded/enthusiast owned Volvos out there. There is no major body damage and the car as you can see in the pictures passes the 12 foot distance test looking like a real nice straight car.

I do believe the car would make a long trip in its current state. Would I drive it myself across country tomorrow? Yes, if I had some extra fluids for just in case and spare wheels/tires.

I will not accept less than $3k. Not even 2,997.89. I will part the car for more or equal and even save some things for R.

I am sorry this car isn't in your back yard.

I have no idea why the AC is intermittent and it honestly never bothered me. I don't use it. I had it charged at the dealer when I bought the car and it has slowly lost performance. Likely a leak. I can supply everything but an evap as spare parts for this car if you are interested. I pulled a working AC out of my R with 100k miles on it as I just didn't use it or want it.

Yes, of course the car is still for sale - I have been updating the thread consistently.
