Well, I love my car, but I love my wife more. After this last accident, (I ran myself over with the car, broke my left tibia in two) she is determined that I get rid of my pride & joy I won't be ready to sell it for probably 6 months, I still want to get the dyno done & refine the tune based on the numbers I get.
Car was dyno'd @ 247WHP on a Mustang Dyno, and that was prior to the hybrid 20g/Woth tune install.
Many pics of the work done in My Build Thread, and pretty much everything itemized in My Garage. Take a look through, there's lots of pics!
The car has 18" peg replicas with 235/40x18 Sumitomo's and comes with a set of 17" Volvo Pegs with 235/45x17 Kumho ASX's.
I'm not happy with this at all, I love the way the car handles, it's clean, very quiet as far as squeaks/rattles, interior is excellent, with R panels, R spring set, sill plates etc.....
No Rust, not even on the sunroof panel. Car has parking lots dings, unfortunately, but that's it. I can get detail pics when I back on my feet. I plan on being @ Carlisle with the car, if anyone is going.
I'm gonna say $15K. Car is in Rockland County, NY
If you have any interest, you can pm me.

Re: 1998 V70 XC M66 Built T5M motor; 125K on car, 10K on motor (lookforjoe)

While we all appreciate the work you did on this XC and how quick and unique it is, that price a real stretch for a 98 XC no matter how much work was done to it!
I hope you fell better and how the hell did you run over yourself?
(Your rear emblems should read "XC-R")

One problem w/ these cars/wagons is that it's impossible to recover even a portion of the $ you have put into them. A few on here have either drastically lowered their price or removed (& sold separately) some of the mods, to get the price to a more reasonable level.
Good luck w/ the sale.
BTW: Not sure how you ran over yourself, but with all those pics & videos Chilled Man takes, it won't be long before he runs himself over, too!

You didn't mention whether the car is still AWD or just FWD after all the mods....

Unfortunately, mods don't appreciate a car the way one would hope/expect. I would imagine that it'd be rather difficult for you to do that right now with your leg Here's to a speedy recovery, and good luck with the sale.

I think you should raise the price to $30K. Then you can say, "Honey, I am trying to sell the car, but nobody has offered to buy it yet!" Win, win.

Sorry - if you knew the deal, you'd know it's AWD. I should have clarified for those who are not familiar with the car. I love the handling, and with around 300WHP, it's a thing of beauty.

Well, we'll see.
If it was just another manual conversion I'd have to agree. At this point there are only a few M66 AWD 800 chassis cars in the country, and you'll be hard pressed to find one this clean with the list of mods. Clearly, it's not for the average Volvo owner, since this goes far beyond in terms of performance.

Car has a remote starter. I've used it everyday since I've had the car. I always leave it in neutral. Well, this time it wasn't. Car lurched away from curb, wheels were turned out - since I was already right by the car, it trapped my left foot; lurched again, drove up my leg, snapped the tibia, lurched one more time, off my leg & stopped. Thankfully I always put the ebrake on fully, so it had to fight against that to move at all. I have to add a neutral switch, since the car was auto when I bought it.

I find it funny that the person always commenting on price (or people needlessly posting in for sale ads) always has the highest priced stuff out there when selling his own cars...and NONE are this clean.
Having driven a M66 V70 AWD car myself (mine) I can attest to how nice these cars are set up this way....way nicer than any P2 R could ever hope to be and light years better than an auto AWD. Also knowing what my build cost I know it would be hard to duplicate for what he is asking, especially if you can't do the work yourself.
With that said, is it for everyone? No. Is it worth it to the right person? Yes.
Good luck man, sorry to see you have to let it go. I hope things change for you in the next few months.
Nick

At the risk of being one of "them," thank you for this timely and eloquent post. Joe, you will be hearing from me, great ride - I'm off to go blow up my family mule - and script my wife-speech - as you read this.
