Maybe try a smoke test?
i did not change the fuel filter (yet). i purchased a new fuel filter (and a bunch of other parts) that i have not replaced yet solely for this reason... i was worried about changing too many things at once and then not being able to pinpoint any issues that arise afterwards. You are correct on the TCV hose routing. I wouldnt think a bad TCV would cause it to die right away. Google some videos on making a home made smoke test. I cant remember did you change the fuel filter ?
What part of AZ are you in? There's a group of guys on AZ on fb that I'm sure would give you a hand depending on location.took a break from the car over the holidays, and to be honest i've been dreading the thought of working on it again. for the amount of money i've put into it already, i could have just bought another daily driver. but nonetheless, i need to get the v70 running properly again! any ideas how much $$ i'm looking at to take it to a shop to get diagnosed/fixed???
