I had to temporarily remove (and unplug) the passenger side forward airbag. While I had it removed, I had to crank and move the vehicle. Obviously, this set a code in the SRS system and the light remains on even though I have reinstalled everything. I have looked everywhere trying to find the reset/memory clear procedure, but have had no luck. The closest (to my year model) procedure that I've been able to find is for a 1994 Volvo 960, but this is not the same setup. I'm guessing that somewhere in between 94 and 96, volvo integrated the OBD II system that my car has. I have an OBDII scanner and hooked it up. Though no codes were showing, I cleared the OBDII memory. However, this did not turn out the light. I also removed the battery cable for a few minutes, but this did no good. Could someone PLEASE tell me how to successfully clear the memory to turn off the SRS light? HELP would be very much appreciated!
