The radiator fan on my 1994 850 Turbo won't stop running after the car has been turned off!!!! I already tried disconnecting/reconnecting the battery but it starts running again!!! Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing the problem???? I know that the fan can run for a little while after the car has been shut off, but an hour and a half... I disconnected the battery...

Thanks in advance

Right after I posted my message I went out and gave the cooling relay a good whack, reconnected the battery and the fan was off. So that was it, I guess time for a new relay. Thanks for the suggestions.

I would have guessed the relay. When my fuel pump relay filled with water and shorted out, my fuel pump continued running after the engine was off.

BTW, I'm really liking the Kumho tires so far. I've pushed them hard several times and they grip quite well on dry pavement. I'm very pleased to report that they're quiet when they start to slip, unlike my 185/70s that squealed like a pig at only moderate cornering loads. I haven't done much wet weather driving with them yet, but Jason mentioned his rain experience with them in this thread.

I read his post; I think Kumho's will be my next choice when tire replacement comes up. If they are that good I just can't justify the extra cost for the RE730's and last time I checked it was quite a price difference.

Thanks for the information.
