I'm new here so hopefully this is the correct place to post this question. I just purchased a really nice 1 owner well maintained black 740 wagon. It has the standard light gray bumper covers that are faded and a bit dingy. Any tips on what paint to buy and how to restore them? Thanks Lee

Sounds like a nice wagon . I have heard people say that you can bring them back to black with a product called "Forever Black", but have not bothered myself. I actually was daydreaming about getting my car re-sprayed and having the black trim painted to match the body -- all 601 red. Probably too cheap to do that though. Enjoy

I used a brand called Wurth product called satin trim paint. Spray can. Works well. Has held up for 5 years now.

You can plastidip them black.
