purchased this car in early 2001 when it was bone stock with 140K miles on it. A new turbo was put in then, along with other general maintenance at a cost of over 1500$. Since then, I began working on the car modifying it and have spent much time and money getting it to where it is. The car won 3rd place in the 2005 Volvo Club of America Show in Davis. However, the following week, it was hit on the drivers side lightly in San Francisco. The car drove fine with the damage, didn’t affect anything except the way it looked. I purchased another fender a new turn signal and a new parking light prepared to fix it. Then, a few weeks later, the transmission went out due to not being cleaned properly by Aamco. Anyways, as the car sits I don’t know how far it would drive, I wouldn’t trust taking it too far, unless you have AAA. It does move on its own accord though but the transmission does slip if taken over 3K rpms. (I was able to drive the car around town) I hate to sell this car, but I really don’t have more time to sink into it while in college and need the money for other things (food, tuition, my other car). It is a gorgeous car that gets complimented everywhere I got by enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike.
