My wonderful '85 240 has started stalling randomly. I first noticed it when I was going about 75 mph on the interstate. It doesn't seem to matter if I'm in first or fifth, if I'm accelerating or not, or if I have the car in neutral at a light. My mechanic has replaced every part he can and is convinced it's in the wiring, but he can't find the problem.
Any suggestions?

Re: 1985 240 Stalls When Driving and Idling (aravis121)

Welcome to Swedespeed, Keitha.
Probably the deteriorated engine wiring harness touching bare metal as the engine moves around on its mounts. Also, the electrical connections may be dirty.
http://www.ipdusa.com/Products...D=629
Other possibities:
Vacuum leaks.
Poor electrical grounds.
Dirty throttle body and flame trap.
Faulty Mass air meter, Ox sensor, etc.
George Dill
