Okay, I was looking through old literature and saw a 240 with steel wheels and no hubcaps. Instead, they had a little silver Volvo center cap that just covered the center hole of the steel wheel. It had the Volvo V logo on it.
Any idea where I could find these? Do you think the dealer still stocks them?

George, I have a few sets of these here at the shop. They fit my 14" steel winter rims. Lemme know if you want to see them.
Rob
Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing....

Is this what you have? If that's it, would you be interested in selling me a set? How much?
Last, if you're coming up to Carlisle tomorrow, can you just bring them along? If not, I have an appt. next week for the Volvo at your shop anyway, so I can just pick them up then.

George, those aren't the ones I have...I have bigger ones, that cover all of the lugs. I don't think I've ever even seen those before...sorry.
Rob

George - I don't want to sound pessimistic, but I think they'll be really difficult to track down in the US. I've only seen those once 'in the metal'. I've got the equivalent center cap for my spare Corona alloys, and when I asked about new ones (even with the part number) I always get blank stares and confused looks. I think the small cap/chrome lug look is really cool, but it must have never really caught on among Volvo buyers...
Like most unusual parts, I imagine you can get them from someone in Sweden.

Believe it or not, I found a set and some sources for them amongst the used Volvo parts guys at the Carlisle show this weekend. I now have a complete set with minimal denting. They all have the red circle painted around the V emblem, and I'll probably try to remove that and rechrome them. They slide in from the rear before you put the wheel on.
There was also a very cool and pristine 140 at the show that had them (all silver). I shot a closeup and will include it in the Carlisle gallery this week.
