Ive been thinking about selling the 18"VST rims (no tires) on the S60R. I got them from IPD a few months ago and they have about 3000 miles on them. All rims are clean, straight, and free of any curb rash. Any interest??? Im thinking maybe $900 shipped??? Is that fair or do-able?? Arthur. Please post in literate english so we can understand what you are implying. If your meager funds wont allow you to afford SSR's, I totally understand. If you are implying that $1300 is expensive for a set of wheels that retail for $2600 then you are misinformed or ignorant. Pick your poison.<p>As for the original posters wheels. My "English" is very plain and simple. Although my sentence structure might leave a little to desire in my last post, it gets the point across.<p>To spell that point out: I am implying that we do not need comments from the "peanut gallery." The price he offers is very aggressive and any of us would love to swipe up a great set of wheels at a great price.<p>I am also implying that what this poster is offering is simililar in pricing to a set of SSR's being offered as well - and for the poster of that set to make the comments that he did towards this post can easily be said about his own post. I don't want to assume, but might that have something to do with said set not being sold?<p>Also, methinks that it's not my wording, as my name is not Arthur or Arty <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/wink.gif" BORDER="0">

Hello all,<p> I am getting several offers over my asking price and am being told that this asking price is too low. Perhaps it would be better if I just put these up on eBay and do an auction style sale. I have 100% feedback and aslo use paypal. I have been asked many questions about shipping too. I will only ship these wheels to continental US locations, and I don't want to pay for shipping. I would prefer that the buyer pays for the shipping or do a local pickup. I do have a UPS account and will go through the trouble of having them shipped, but I don't want to pay for it. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks again for all the interest/feedback.

The price of the VST Monoblock R's really was not that expensive when offered new (and some might actually argue that they were a "bargain" for the weight savings - not as much as the Ronals, but these actually look pretty damn sweet).<p>And lastly, for the second time, it is NOT Arthur!

I actually heavily considered your set when you posted them, did research on weight/fitment, and ultimiately decided that I dispise the contour of the face of the rims (sorry). The way they attach to the "hub" and two-piece design make the rims appear smaller than they actually are.<p>I guess we'll see what happens w/ ebay, and until then I'll continue to work on my 18" Peg powdercoating fiasco.
