Looking for new tires which are all weather, it does snow here so we are looking for something that handles well in all seasons. We are not interested in WR's since we don't change tires seasonally. Currently I am looking at
Old 17 inch thread
Goodyear Fortera TripleTred
Michelin® 4 x 4 Diamaris
Michelin® Latitude™ Tour
Does anyone have experience with any of these tires?

Re: 17 inch tires for the Volvo XC90; Q & A (myxc90)

I've got Bridgestone Alenza's and so far am very pleased with performance. Last time I checked they were very highly rated on Tirerack.com by buyers and reviewers.

I also have the Bridgestone H/l Alenza's and really like them alot. Had to replace all four since one of the original Pirelli's got a slice from a piece of glass taken out of it. Made a world of difference. And Tire Rack ranks them as the #2 (was #1 when I bought mine) replacement tire for an SUV.

Re: 17 inch tires for the Volvo XC90; Q & A (bigtomhammer)

Anyone else think a couple of polls as to which non-OEM tires you have fitted to your '90 might be useful ? One could be "great tire choices" the other "not-so-great tire choices". As long as the choices of tires are included in both polls, we should be able to get some degree of objective analysis of better choices for folks on the site. Given that our own OEM Michelin's have around 40% tread left, I have a vested interest in such a poll !! If I knew how to set one up and knew the tires choices, I'd do it. Anyone else think it's a useful resource ? Anyone else care to help out by setting up such a poll ??
Thanks !

I'm leaning towards the
Goodyear Fortera TripleTred
I want to buy the tires at either sams club or costco. Currently sams club carrys them. $166 each plus $9 each for the Lifetime roation and road hazard

If you want the best all season tire go with Nokian WR-SUV's . They are all-season tires, and very quiet compared to the stock tires. I replaces the crappy Michelins with these and the differnce is night and day. They cost a bit more but were well worth it. best price i found was at the tirefactory.net
