My exhaust is now fully modified (EST cat-back and Ferrita 3" DP), I also have BMC/Heico drop in filter.
Temp was around 18 deg C, had ~3/4 tank of gas. Had some great launches at ~4000RPM and this was the result.

Thee new times above are significanly better than with the stock exhaust as seen in these graphs (conditions were nearly identical):

Ignore Run #1 (blue), that was an anomole of some kinds since I was never able break 6 seconds 0-60 again even after 20 attempts. I think the G-meter didn't calibrate well on that run. Run #6 is more representative of the times I made with stock exhaust (BMC/Heico filter was installed).
These are very early results and I only made measured 3 runs with the new exhaust. Also note that my 60' times were much better in the recent runs probably a result of my learning to launch and shift better after a few more weeks with my R.
I'm pleased with the thought of breaking 14 seconds and pleased that the new exhaust helped shave almost a half second off the 1/4 mile.
Bottom line is the EST cat-back and Ferrita 3" DP feel faster with the butt-dyno and my G-meter tests have now helped validate it.
LTA

i noticed some patterned flaws in the gtech..
your first run: 14.0 secs. @ 99.84mph but yet you did 0-100mph in 13.83 seconds?
your second run: 14.15 sec. @ 99.79mph but 0-100mph in 13.98 seconds
anyone else catch this?

They show data in two ways, with and withouth roll-out factored in. I e-mailed their techsupport to help inderstand how their calculations work but no response yet. I just take the #'s for what they are and as long as it's doing the same calcs on each run I'm happy to see the improvement since adding EST cat-back and Ferrita DP.
C&D tests shows this g-meter to be one of the most accurate in their test but I'll never really know until I get to the track to compare and calibrate.
LTA
Re: (phuz)

The only way this can be possible, is if a shift occured at exactly 100mph, but JUST before the quarter mile mark. If this is the case, he might hit 100 and then cross the quarter mile mark before he was back on the throttle after his shift and after slowing slightly due to the shift. (No defending the Gtech, just identifying the possiblity) However, with the R's gear ratio, 100mph is like right in the middle of 4th, so it is improbable. LTA, do you shift into 5th that early?

The columns of numbers on the left (in BLUE and GREEN) are supposed to be the calculated drag-strip times and the chart on the right is plotted with the raw data. I can also look at the raw data in a flat text file.
Here is some raw data from Run #1:
13.8267s 98.4mph
14.0012s 99.1mph
14.1759s 99.8mph
It's confusing so I think I need to get on the phone with someone at Bel/Escort that can explain this.
LTA
