I recently reflashed to BSR Stg 1 and I've noticed this new event: if I'm accelerating as fast as I can from a stop, as soon as I shift to 2nd the car bogs and the stability control dummy light comes on for a second. This is straight-line driving, dry roads, etc, etc. I'm guessing there was too much torque so the DSTC sensed wheel slippage? I believe the car would do that before the reflash too but I notice it more now.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any way to get around it other than slipping the clutch during that shift? Turn off spin control perhaps?

Re: 1-2 shift vs. traction controls (Crashy)

Sounds like you need better tires, to match the new output. Smoother shifting would help, make sure you have "bite" before pushing in 2nd.
Tom.
