Minneapolis, MN - Borton Volvo of Minneapolis will host the "6th Annual Borton Block Party" featuring "The Memories of Elvis Show," performed by the celebrated Chris Olson. Presley died 25 years ago on Aug. 16, 1977.<P>The event will take place Saturday, August 17, 2002 from 4 to 10 pm. Chris Olson will perform from 7:30 to 9:45 pm. It will be located in front of Borton Volvo of Minneapolis at 5428 Lyndale Ave. S.<P>An Elvis performer since 1993, Olson has been performing more than 100 Elvis songs in cities across the country, including Las Vegas, Nev. and Nisswa, Minn. To mark the 25th anniversary of Elvis' death, Olson will perform for more than 5,000 at Borton's annual community event. <P>Olson, considered an "Elvis clone," pays tribute to the King with his white-studded suits and lambchop sideburns, singing the songs of an American icon.<P>More than 4,000 visitors attended last year's Borton Volvo Block Party, and the company expects the number to increase for this year's event. <P>In addition to Olson, the Borton Block Party will feature music by The Fantastic Convertibles, as well as face painters, clowns, jugglers, palm readers, tattoo artists, a beer garden and barbecue ribs, the kind Elvis' momma used to make.<P>For more information, contact Rob "Col.
