01 S60 T5 - Were Koni Shocks Standard?

Just noticed that my 01 S60 T5 has adjustable Koni shocks.

Was this is the standard build for an 01 S60 T5?
Or has someone dropped this at a later date?
Or was it 'sports' upgrade option?

As far as I know there NEVER was a KONI standard on any production Volvo
