Okay friends, I'm gonna need some major help if you can please. I've tried to put together a list with part numbers of everything I need for the swap before I do anything. I really really really don't want to find out I'm missing something in the middle of the process. If you guys see anything on this list that isn't needed, which I'm sure there will be, please let me know so I can update the list. Similarly if I need to add anything to the list as well. I've hyperlinked the items for quick reference if that makes it easier. Remember, I have a 1997 850R and I got the donor transmission from a 2001 C70 so it's not an 850 to 850 swap..

      2) C70 Shifter Assembly GOT IT
      3) C70 Pedals GOT IT

      5) R Clutch and Pressure Plate - VOL-272218 $262
6a) Flywheel - 17.1 lb Billet Single Mass Flywheel - SO13S $440 (This one from Viva is 1.3 lbs lighter than stock which I would imagine means quicker revving, but the site says it might chatter slightly during idle.)

6c) Flywheel - Original Single Mass Flywheel - Used - $100-150 (Not sure if at this price it would just be better to get a new one. I want to do this right from the beginning.)
      7) Clutch Line - VOL-9181324 $77 SITE SAYS IT DOESN'T FIT 01 C70
      8) Manual Throttle Cable - VOL-9157600 $45 SITE SAYS IT DOESN'T FIT 01 C70

Wow where are you getting those prices? Those are really high.

Use VIDA to determine what parts you need. The online databases have a lot of errors. Especially FCP. Throttle cable doesn't fit MY01 C70 because it doesn't have one.

If you don't have a master cylinder or clutch position sensor, you,re going to need them. You can use automatic axles in a M56.

Used flywheel is fine, as long as there are no cracks and you get it resurfaced

      7) Clutch Line - VOL-9#FF0000/URL] $77 SITE SAYS IT DOESN'T FIT 01 C70

You'll need this, but this is part of why I'm concerned about the C70 pedals. You'll need to check that they have the right clip for the end of the cable to attach to. I can check when I get home and snag a photo of mine

      16) Shifter Ball Seat - VOL - 9183908 $21

      18) Axle Seals (2) - VOL-6843481 $10

      20) Quaife LSD - QDF12J $1100 Here's the Quaife for $960USD not including shipping

      DO I NEED THESE?
      21) Shift Cable Retaining Bolts (4) - 3502507 $2 If you don't have them, you'll definitely need them. They keep the shift cables in place.
      22) Clutch Return Spring - 9140179 $10 If it wasn't still attached to your pedal assembly, you'll need this as far as I know. I don't see it in your photo...
      23) Axles Reuse the same auto axles. I have two manual axle seals, one original and I replaced the other, neither one leaks.
      24) Master Cylinder - 9181339 $215 Should have come with the rest of the parts, but yes you 10000% need this
      25) Clutch Pedal Position Sensor - VOL-9472979 $70
      26) Throwout Bearing - SB60120 $48 SITE SAYS IT DOESN'T FIT 01 C70 Replace it now while it's easy and accessible. Also replace the ball seat - I'm not completely sure this is the exact part, but I'd imagine it's very similar - https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/...eat-Genuine-Classic-Part/1179236/9143962.html

EDIT: It appears your slave cylinder and throwout bearing are integrated together for part 3125944

What about reverse light? What about cruise control? I have lived without both of those things for 9000km as I haven't gotten to them yet, lol... I don't think I'll re-do the cruise control since I don't use it anyways, reverse lights have been on my mind for a hot minute
You can only use the auto axles in the M56h if you change the axle seals to the Auto ones the axles are 2mm smaller in diameter.
Not true, I have manual seals with auto axles with no issues
