      Do you want your L & R low-beam headlights to be matched in brightness and color? If so, and you are only replacing one side, you'll want something like this:


      These are halogen incandescent filament bulbs....the don't specify color temperature...but it's 3200K (Osram standard).

      As the color temp. goes up, the color shifts to whiter and then bluer.

      The bulb he is referencing is 5000K so bright white. Blue tint is used to filter the light spectrum so it turns white. Those are too dark so may not only produce some blue tinge but also block output in general. It also best to replace both sides regardless what you choose for equal lighting and have the good older bulb as a backup.
