      fire extinguisher
      gloves
      small jump starter
      electronic flares
      reflective vest
      painters coveralls
      first aid kit
      emergency candle
      waterproof matches
      lint for use as firestarter
      space blankets
      channel locks
      multi screwdriver
      zip ties
      radiator hose repair tape
      WD-40
      tow strap
      pieces of wood to stabilize & prop up jack
      breaker bar & socket to fit lug nuts
      lug nut cap removal tool (for 19" wheels)

      Great list!! and just what I was looking for...it would've never occurred to me to include sunscreen but makes all the sense in the world. I've been working on an Amazon.com shopping list and this is what I have so far:

      I think that that preparedness pack you could build yourself much cheaper. Also, unless you like it better, the portable battery/jumpstarter I linked above is about half the price.
