My car didn't have it when I bought it. So I bought one (ContiMobility kit, the newer version that comes with a bag and the tow hook) from ebay instead of the period correct model for my car. This one still fits in that space.

I have to say that I regret spending the $40 it cost me. I tested it the day it arrived and I was disappointed. The inflator sounds and feels extremely cheap, it takes a good time to fill up the tire and struggled to reach 36 psi.

I don't think the inflator has a long lifespan. And the sealant has an expiration date.

I would rather spend that money in the harbor freight high volume inflator, which is way better than the Contimobility. I have one in my S40 and I was surprised how good it is for being from Harbor freight.

I’d like to share my personal take on this. The factory air compressor, is not that great. Feels fragile like the cheap harbor freight inflator that’s not meant for automotive use.

And replacing the chemical is very expensive (around $45USD) when compared to fix-a-flat spray cans. Which cost around $8 to $10 USD and do basically the same thing.

I made the mistake of purchasing the contimobility kit that came in the newer C70’s to have just in case and when I tried it, I instantly regretted the purchase.

I’d rather have bought another harbor freight high volume tire inflator like I have in my S40 instead.
