No problem handling a large Samsung Note phone. Gives the console a really smooth and clean look and the console shuts perfectly.I got mine off Ali Express, it is designed for the S60 and XC60. It also fits the XC90

I wanted to post some important feedback after longer term use so anyone considering this unit is aware. This unit slightly interferes with the forward cup holder. So if your have a very large cup, it will no longer easily fit into the front cup holder. So if you have the thin plastic or paper disposable cup, it might push the limits and tear it or break it and make a huge mess. I have to place and remove such cups carefully in the forward holder or risk a mess. Perhaps the designer did not know of the extremely large drinks we Americans like to buy and consume while on the go! They could have cut the unit's case back slightly and it would have been perfect.
