i'll be completely honest... it's the fugliest grill that ive ever seen on an s40. but hey, if it works for you... with a screen name like CHROMECARZ00, i think its a perfect fit... but yeah... just do what makes you happy. forget what other people think

BBQ grill - good analagy - could come in handy on camping trips though, just rip off your grille and get the sausages on.
But seriously, as much as this is clearly awful, why don't more manufacurers make replacement lower grilles, done tastefully it would look great. I've been giving some consideration to making a custom job as others have done previously, but don't have much experience in making and fitting one, perhaps one day when i've got a few hours to kill I'll have a go!

I've just spent the last 16 months getting abolishing all the chrome on my car! Keep the aluminum on the inside.

Keep the shiny stuff for the caddy's.
If it was a darker like gunmetal or black i'd imagine it would look okay. The install looks pretty clean. But it's too much flatness on the front, it needs some sort of badge somewhere.
Anyone else notice it's smiling at you?
