For sale is my beloved 2016 Volvo S60 Polestar, of which I am the second owner. One of 31 in North America with the Rebel Blue color and T6 Engine, out of 1500 produced in total, making it very rare. Powered by a 3.0L 345HP Twinscroll Turbo Inline 6 and Haldex V AWD, this small sedan can rocket from 0-100kmh in 4.5 seconds while returning decent fuel economy on the highway (~7L/100km or 32mpg).

The car comes with the factory 19" wheels and 6 piston Brembo calipers. This was the last year of the inline six offered in ANY Volvo vehicle and will make for a guaranteed future classic. This car comes with auto headlights, adaptive cruise control, heated seats and steering wheel, power locks/doors/mirrors and the complete suite of Volvo safety tech.

The car has approx 127,000km on it, or 80k miles.

The good:

  • I have all the service records of my 2 year ownership of this vehicle (I am the 2nd owner) and all outstanding recalls have been done.
  • Everything works on the car as it should. Oil has been changed with full synthetic every 5000KM & undercoated with Krown annually.
  • I am also including a bottle of Alcantara cleaner, factory touch-up paint and the 36mm hex nut required to do DIY oil changes.
  • Doesn't burn oil
  • It's a 3.0 and Rebel Blue!!!

The bad:

  • The car has been winter driven by the previous owner, but garaged by myself upon purchase in 2022.
  • Rear Ohlins failed at 116k KMs (very common issue), replaced with R-design rear shocks. I am including the rear Ohlins, they will need to be rebuilt somewhere.
  • Tires are Michelin Pilot Alpins dated 2020. They have about 8/10 tread, however there is a slow leak in the front driver side tire. I recommend putting on a new set of tires on this car.
  • The factory 20" wheels are not included, when i purchased the car in 2022, it came on aftermarket wheels, which I no longer have. If you want my opinion 20" wheels on this car suck anyways. 19's are lighter and offer more sidewall.
  • There was a reported fender bender in 2017 by the first owner. It shows up on the carfax. I see no visual signs that the car was damaged, so it could have just been a bumper kiss.

Feel free to message me, i can also do video tours of the car via DMs.
I am asking 31k CAD or whatever that amounts to in USD. Note for US buyers, this Canadian car has no TPMS and will need such retrofitted to be imported into the land of the free.

Car is located in Fredericton NB.
I am also willing to drive the car up to Montreal QC to perform the trade at Euro Volvo (deposit given to them), a certified independant service center that I trust.
I am also willing to drive the car to Ottawa or Toronto, provided i am sent a cash deposit, at your own risk.

Reason for selling: Trying to get into grad school.

double check those front rotors - or share a closer photo - they look like the are on the wrong sides :( easy fix...

I'll post a pic after i take the car out for a drive later this week. It just sits in my driveway not doing much :( It's hard selling a car this rare in a small town in the middle of (relative) nowhere.

I wish I could keep it, no lie. But I have other priorities right now, and the garage belongs to another car of mine ;)

We had a 2016 T5. This looks like a nice upgrade.

I LOVE the color. Looks almost identical to my Pilot Diffuse Sky Blue Pearl. I get comments about it all the time.

Too bad that color was not available when I got my S60 T8, but as I mentioned elsewhere colors other than white or black were very rare when I got mine.

Anyway, I don’t need another Volvo, but this looks like a great vehicle. Someone should snap it up soon.
