If you took injectors from working car, maybe you could swap pressure sensor and/or regulator from same car or at least any other. In theory if pressure spikes up without necessity, then regulator doesnt work properly. Either sensor sends wring commands. Also there is pump probability, but CR pumps are sturdy enough.
Adding 2stroke oil to diesel is kinda old school trick for VP injection pumps.
Even if pressure sensor is installed new, there is still place for faulty part. I recently experienced new EGR valve which died next day.

Also somehow my injector amount correction picture cant get uploaded.

Wich version of vida will let u read the injector values? im intrested in that myself. I tried to read that on a friends d5 163 hp but i couldnt find it anywhere in my vida. You cant always trust injectors from a partscar even tho they seem to run fine in that car, i have two friends done exactly that on a d5 163, both still had missfires, one got sorted at volvo in the end, with a brand new injector. That being said, on ur car, getting the knock at idle, i would think its something else causing the rail to run lean.

Plus or minus 3mm I think are the tolerances. Something seriously wrong with values in that image above.
Yes, 3 is tolerance. Problem in my case is VIDA not showing them correctly. No way I have these values. But as I said, I have seen in other forums people having same issue of VIDA not displaying them correctly on these older D5s.

Can anyone here advise me on my problem with my 2007 V70 D5, I have the usual diesel rattle but on top of that I have a much louder 'click'.
All running fine with over 40 mpg but very annoying.
The odd thing is it is NOT there for the first second or two after starting.
I have tried the 'screwdriver in the ear' on each injector, all sound the same.
Also it is no louder with the oil filler cap off. It's been there for over 5000 miles but is getting louder recently, Many thanks

are you sure the click is from the injectors? vacuum pumps can also make a pretty high clicking sound on some of these engines. This is probably not it but im saying it anyway since if the alternator belt breaks on this engine it might cause a very big problem, so worth checking, Have you checked the alternatorbelt and the running wheels? ( cant think of the right words in english at the moment but i gather you know what i mean) they can also make a lot of weird noises when they get wore.
