Anyone have one they’ve been happy with? These have a general reputation for flakiness. Ideally works w MY2023.
if you still have this i would pick it up off ya for that priceI have a CarlinKit CPC200-U2W that I don’t use if anyone wants to take it off my hands. $30 shipped.
Worked perfectly in my ‘20 XC40.
It’s USB-A, not USB-C. If you have a newer Volvo with USB-C ports, you’ll just need a USB-C to USB-C cable for this to work

The Carlinkit 5.0 does not show on the driver’s display on my 2023 S60. Also, the initial connection is not consistent. If it won’t connect, it requires lots of finagling that I haven’t figured out yet.Can you confirm if you can see both displays when using maps? The center and driver clusters?
Does it show on the dirver's display when hardwired to your phone, bypassing Carlinkit? The Carlinkit 5.0 does not show on the driver’s display on my 2023 S60. Also, the initial connection is not consistent. If it won’t connect, it requires lots of finagling that I haven’t figured out yet.
These two are deal killers for me.
When working, the lag seems very minimal.
in AAOS some apps can display on the driver display.Does it show on the dirver's display when hardwired to your phone, bypassing Carlinkit?
Carlinkit simply acts as middleware, convering the signal from wired to wireless. It depends on how Carplay is supported by the Volvo's system.... On my old sensus, Carplay is only displayed on the main screen, not on the driver's cluster display. Guess it is similar with the AAOS inmplementtion.
