To pair the app to the car I have to first delete the existing pairing which I cannot do unless I log into the app and I can't lot into the app without pairing it first. Any solution?

I don't have that problem. For me, I log on and then it says "Add your car". It gives me instructions on how to do it which include an option in the online menus for On Call (which is not there).

I have the same problem. I've experienced this several times since I bought the car -- very irritating! I've tried a number of things, including doing a factory reset and then adding users from scratch. That worked, but wasn't that much fun.

What I've resorted to now is just adding a new user and going through the Volvo app connect process (I am able to use the Volvo ID from before). So now I have an Admin that can't use the app (for the same reason you have), plus 2 "users" (my wife and I). I'm sure this is not the "proper" way to do this, but it works for me until I have an occasion to get to the dealer later.

BTW...I've tried to "make me an admin" after adding a new user, but it comes up with some error that says "have to disconnect the Volvo app from the car first" or something like that, which I have no idea how to do. I sure wish there was a simple way to do this re-connect process...as I said, it's happened to me a number of times in the 5 months I've had the car.

Wow. That is strange. I didn't have any issues with my 2019 (which has SENSUS) and this is the first blip in about six months of ownership of my 2022 (with AAOS). Truly odd.

I have created a new admin account after deleting the owner account but now for some reason during the pairing process with both keys in the car, the car is not able to see my phone. Such a complicated process! No clue what to do now.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news....But if you can't delete the partnership from the phone, the current solution is to perform a factory reset on the car. It's bonkers, asinine and inexcusable. But that's what you have to do. Dropped your phone in the toilet? Sounds like a car reset is in order. Broke your phone screen? Better reset the car.

Also, for extra laughs: For awhile the factory reset function was disabled because it bricked the car. Not sure if it's back or not.

...sounds like you know quite a bit about this issue.

SO...is my solution of just adding a new "user" each time until I happen to have an appointment at the dealer a reasonable approach? Do I take on some other unknown-to-me risk in doing that? Thanx.

I think adding a user to the car is the same as doing a factory reset, effectively. It's easier to start from scratch.
I am getting a new phone next week and I am panicking that I am going to forget to "end ownership" on my old phone and screw everything up.

Quick update. Got it working after creating a new profile with admin privilege and then deleting old profile. Next step was the routine pairing process.

Side note, android widgets don't work with AAOS.

What happened for me is that the app went down during like everybody else, and now it will let me log on and then asks me to Add my car. I hit that, it asks me for my VIN, and then asks then it gives me instructions that are relevant only for SENSUS.

Mine will only connect now if I turn bluetooth OFF on my phone. Same with Carplay, if bluetooth is ON it will not connect.
