The idle speed on my c30 t5 running the B5254T7 (105k miles) changes in a rhythmic fashion bouncing between 800-1500rpm without any input. Upon throttle pedal input the rpm rises and stays steady as normal. I cleaned the throttle body with some carb cleaner hoping that it was just dirt blocking the butterfly valve from closing all the way, but it made little difference. Engine accessories still reduce the rpm as they always have, like AC and steering pump, before ecu brings rpm back up and bounces the idle speed around again. Any insights?
