M66 AWD vs M66 FWD

Are most of the internal parts interchangeable? I am thinking of swapping the guts from a FWD M66 into my AWD M66 that I suspect is bad.

We do not know. Volvo only offers a replacement tranny for manual or automatic. No internal gear or clutch pack parts available from Volvo. Shift fork assembly for manual and valve body & related parts for auto only, available.
