Ok. I ordered today Volvo B3 Momentum Ice White with the Charcoal fabric upholstery, not the Charcoal City Weave as I originally planned to do. I didn't go for the leather this time, nor the R-Design suede/alcantara. I live in Finland and the delivery will be in April. An Audi A4 Avant and BMW318 Touring would have cost 7-8000 euros more with the same packs and options. I'm really excited about my decision and couldn't wait for the spring.

I have ordered a V60 B3 which will most likely be arriving in June. However, on MY23 this charcoal City weave is the only no extra charge upholstery option on cars that come to Finland. All the other European seem to have two options: the light and the dark city weave. But not in Finland which I find pretty curious. The other thing. Volvo won't offer any more Ice white. The only option is Black Stone. All the other paints cost extra. The reason: Ice White is too popular worldwide and Volvo wants to get more money out of metallic paint options. This is no joke believe me.

Ok. I got to the dealers´ and found a V60CC with Charcoal City Weave and looks just fine to me. It's curious that in real life it is actually darker than in any pictures. I even took a pic on the mobile phone and that gave the same result. Every picture gives a false impression. Actually the fabric is a way nicer than the photos indicate. I am happy that I will get that upholstery.

I am a BIG fan of the charcoal, but the creme color (to me) looks like crap!

The light color is my favorite! I would have paid extra to have it in my R Design if that was a thing...... But it's not for everyone. However consider the blonde CityWeave color and texture is something you might find in a Burberry fashion show, or on Scandinavian future or even in an art gallery.....it has a very big appeal to many buyers. Add in the wool is durable and breathable and not leather (which is important to some people) and it's not hard to see why the blonde color was chosen.

It's great the we all have choices...at least for now;) I am a huge fan of leather and never buy cloth interiors. I think the blonde leather looks awesome...not so much for the cloth in that color. If I did buy cloth, I like the darker colors as they look richer to me...lighter colors just look "cheap". Everyone has thoughts of what they like and don't like...I am only sharing my thoughts on the subject.

Just understand this really isn't "cloth", but rather a material blend that has a significant amount of wool in it (like the wool interior the XC90 offers). Run, your had across it and feel the woven texture and the "luxry" of this fabric becomes far more apparent. Don't be surprised when this type of material becomes the norm soon, as Volvo has announced it will stop selling leather.

I don´t think that this charcoal city weave on V60 has any wool in it. It is the other textiles that has it, eg. the new one on XC40 and XC90. This is only a no-extra-cost basic level cloth that is meant to be a little more premium. I may also be wrong. But the feel is not so smooth when you touch it that you might think it´s wool-blend.
