It did kinda brighten up an otherwise very deflating "Oh god, not again! 😟" phone call.
That was her 3rd Volvo. 1st one: '85 244, spun out in a tunnel, totalled; 2nd one: '87 744, broadsided by another kid; and this one.😖

Come to think of it, we may have singlehandedly increased the value of red-block cars by our, erm... culling activities 😕

I was compelled to burn one of my Autochecks on this one, solely because of the price, and because everything said it was a manual. It's actually an auto. But It's clean (I'll send the report if anybody wants it).
Was an all-Pennsylvania car that this Ohio dealer bought at auction. I don't know why they didn't spend a couple bucks and paint the gas door, spiff up the black inserts and maybe try to make the front spoiler look better. Driver's seat faces look like maybe they've been sprayed. He left the console lid open, perhaps because of typical 2004 console rash. Stuck headlight wiper, uh-oh.
I'm thinking that many racing teams' secret weapon are those Horace Hemisphere tires. That's why you've never heard of them. Because - secret.
All in all, might be a good way to get into a decent R for cheap money.

Lol, that reminds me of biggest publishing company in the classic yacht industry that's "Somewhere" in Maine..... the address of their campus literally doesn't have a street number. We'd send stuff up there and just put the name of the road with no number on it. There are only 3 businesses of any significance in town, them and 2 boatyards, so nobody ever had an issue figuring out who it was for. I guess when GPS came out, all the yuppies got confused by the street number being "1-799," so they named one of the paths between buildings after themselves to make the address more GPS friendly lol. But all the OG people and a lot of official documents still use the old address with no number.

Man, I'm not even boozy yet, hence the salient post (for once) and I'm still tempted. But that's seriously approaching the danger zone. Better go find an app that keeps me from drunk-buying another black, '04 VR for good measure - just to ensure that I don't wind up with a second mortgage.

If anyone comes across a 2018-2020 XC90 in their travels that has the following criteria please post it here - got a very strong dealer purchase offer on my 2020 XC60 out of left field, but won't pull the trigger unless I can find a replacement that fits the bill. Looking for the following:
  • <30K miles
  • Any exterior color but white; only charcoal interior
  • Must have Advanced Package and Heated Wheel/Rear Seats Package; anything else is gravy
