I traded in my 2015 S60 T5 AWD for a 2018 S60 T5 AWD Inscription. This new Volvo has the 2.0 motor rather than the 2.5. I noticed that there is a little bit of a shudder from the rear end when I accelerate a little harder. It doesn't seem really bad and I don't notice anything else when driving normal. Is this just normal for this newer car?

I techron through it to make sure there wasn't any carbon buildup on the injectors or anything. I noticed that the front tires were basically new and the rears had about 5/32nds of tread left so I replaced the rears with the exact same tire as the front. I am still getting the shudder. Should I take it to the dealer and have them look it over or am I just not used to this motor/trans combo?

That's just the absolute beastly torque of the 2.0L overdriving those rear wheels. Even AWD cant provide enough traction for that monster

I have this same issue, but mostly when launching hard from a corner. Part of it was due to imbalanced wheel; when that was fixed, it was better but not perfect. Tech that I drove the car with to replicate problem also said that it is probably torque related. I didn't experience the issue on my six-cylinder 2012 T6, so I am also skeptical about that answer. But I have CPO for another 25K miles if it gets worse.
