I have a Draw-Tite hitch and a Kuat rack to haul 2 e-bikes. The only warning I get is with the back up collision sensors every time I put it in reverse. This can be turned off from the back up camera screen with the push of a button. It only happens when I put car in reverse, not constantly.

We have the Drawtite and the Yakima Holdup 2 on the 2017 XC90. I don't recall an issue and we've driven many hundreds of miles with it on.

Does the Drawtite hitch require a cutout in the bumper?

Nope. No cut out.

No cut out from the rear facing the car but you have to cut the rear bumper underneath for all hitches on the xc90. It isnt a big deal and you cant see the cut unless you get under the vehicle. Biggest downside to the drawtite is that it is always out and a bit hideous to see under the rear bumper at all Times.

Stealth hitch has a great product and is invisible when
You don't need it. Though it is 3x the price.

Did the research on hitch mount bike racks for 4 bikes, chose a (wheels rest on) platform type bike rack, and settled on QuikRStuff Mach2. Very pricey but very well engineered, modular from 1 to 4 platforms, completely toolless to use and expand/shrink for more/less bikes, all-metal (zero plastic), and looks to last forever - I'll have to pass this to my grandchildren to recoup the cost [emoji14] - but again, excellent quality.

When reversing, the proximity sensors will be on as the all-metal rack is inches away (with no fear of bikes ever touching the rear). When only 2 platforms are present, empty, and folded up, it does not block the rear camera should one choose to leave the rack on the hitch. Zero wobbling with 4 bikes due to their unique hitch tightening construction. Am extremely happy with the purchase.

Other than the price the only other issue is a 6 month manufacturing backlog! While the rack does tilt down for hatch clearance (may be heavy and awkward with 4 bikes for some), I'm contemplating getting a 3rd party swinging hitch for stuff-the-trunk-full roadtrip convenience but will have to $$$ave up for that - I have some time while the kids get old enough for that.

It’s hard to even see a bike rack when you have those wheels… [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15]. Such a beautiful car

Thanks! Those are Volvo wheels and I have OCD cleaning this piece of functional art every ~4 days - never had a car this pricey - so it better last! [emoji846]

They are my favorite wheels Volvo offers. The V90’s 21’s are a close second.
