Hi all,

Is the engine warm enough to floor it when the car has been running parking climate for 20 mins? ( I would assume no?)

Does driving in hybrid mode, but never triggering ICE, warm up the engine at all? (I would also assume no?)

After manually turning on the engine by using either "hold" or "constant AWD", after how long should I feel comfortable to floor it? (I would assume its the same as cold starting a T6?)

Does the engine cool down any slower when shut off, but the car is still driving? (I would assume the same speed as a T6?)

Can I blast music with the B&W system with the car plugged into a 110V/240V outlet and avoid roasting the 12V battery?

Is there a way to run climate with car plugged in? (While I sit in the car listening to music)

Thanks!

No

The engine should be at operating temp before full throttle operation, which takes 2 - 5 mins depending on ambient temp.

I doubt anyone how tested this, but, yes, the engine is cooling down if it's not running. Air movement would expedite the cool-down process.

For your T8 to charge the 400v battery and 12v battery, the ignition must be OFF. So, no music beyond the automatic Sensus timeout, which I believe is 5 mins.

If you turn the ignition ON (I or II) to listen to music, your 12v battery is discharging (not charging).

Thanks!

Do you know what happens in "B" gear? Is it purely software, e.g. regenerative braking starts to engage below 10% throttle, or is there a constant drag from the electric motor whenever the motor is not doing propulsions?

"B" has been discussed numerous times. It enables more aggressive regen (T8 regen is fairly weak) without accelerator input. The dash gauge indicates the amount of braking/regen. I use it to "coast down" when exiting a freeway, going downhill, or approaching a long red light to recapture more energy.

I recommend you google this forum and read the manual. There's a wealth of information.
