Has anyone removed the fake chrome twin exhaust off the bumper?

hmm this is interesting. are you just going to weld it up to the OEM muffler ?

No. I have already removed the stock muffler. Planning to replace with the DBX flowmaster

so you gone run two of them or what?

currently if yours is like my v60, you have one in two out muffler how you gone mount this one?

This will (hopefully) fit inline right after the resonator. I'll have a Y pipe to split to both twin tips

Definitely! I'm currently running the flowmaster glass pack with the stock tips. Sounds pretty good but a little more drone-y than I'd like at 70-85mph.
I've been told by my local Moosepack crew that my exhaust sounds like no other cars or Volvo they know at WOT, but in a good way.
Hopefully the DBX will improve on the sound

My CC don't have one the R has one from factory but I want it fake three quiet on the highway or when I'm listening to music. And wide open when I'm in the city just going through gears

I understand now.
Using a phone app, I ran a noise measurement in the driver seat with my glass pack exhaust. At 60mph and engine in neutral, I'm reading about 75dBA on the highway, 78dBA with engine cruising, and about 83dBA at WoT. The microphone on my phone is not calibrated so one may get different numbers.
You should measure yours
