I have a 2018 XC60 T8 and for the first two years, I would get between 20 and 25 miles on a charge in the summer and less, maybe 15, in the winter, which was fine. This year, I got the usual lower capacity in the winter, but when the heat hit, the battery life stayed the same. The readout on the speedometer/dash always says 16 and doesn’t go up when I go to B like it used to. I am getting ready to call my dealer, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had this experience?

All batteries lose storage capacity over time.
When I got mine, it showed a battery range of 18 miles when I started it (Hybrid mode) and 20 when I switched to Pure.
Now, after two years those numbers are each reduced by 2 miles. Perfectly normal, I think.

Does it actually go fewer miles on a charge or is it just reporting fewer? Others have mentioned that some change in the software apparently reduced the range shown but didn't change the real range.

In my experience, in may car the range showed it´s much lower than one year ago.

Sometimes i do a electric range test in the same course and the km that i made in electric mode almost not changed, so i think that maybe the estimated range is based on daily routine...
