So, I start my 2018 XC60 today and I always have Pandora set as my audio. I notice it’s not connecting (says “Not Connected” in the tile. When I choose Pandora it starts up and the spinning graphic goes for a while. Then I get a message across the top saying “Pandora is not supported in your region”. Despite it just working the last time I used the car the evening before. I am in Northern California and know Pandora works just fine in my region.

So I decide maybe uninstall and re-install will fix the issue. So I uninstall the Pandora app. When I tried to reinstall it, the app is gone. It’s not in New Apps, it’s not in installed apps (obviously). It isn’t anywhere as an available app to install and I now have no way to install it again. I left the car for a few hours and tried again this evening thinking a reboot of Sensus would bring the option back. As of right now, I have no way to get Pandora back. I checked reddit forums and nobody seems to have posted about any Pandora issues with Sensus. Anyone have any idea what might have happened? I didn’t change the region of my car and wouldn’t know how to do that anyway. Did Pandora support in Sensus just go away without notice? I could use CarPlay probably but that’s not really the point.

There've been a few posts about this. I have the same situation on my "old" V60. IIRC it's a software issue that was being corrected.

Pandora was really the only thing I was keeping the internet connection on my car for so without Pandora I ended up dropping internet on my car.

I began to experience similar difficulties with Pandora about one month ago. Since then, service has been intermittent, occasionally displaying a message that my account is "suspended". I have been in touch with Pandora customer service for several weeks. They confirmed that my account is not suspended (Indeed, I have the free option). During ongoing emails with them, they report that their engineers are working on the problem, but yet to have a solution.

Then, yesterday, I also got the message that Pandora is not supported in my region (central SC), yet it works fine on my desktop computer and Android phone. Film at 11.

I see. I had searched the forum but didn’t come up with my specific problem and the posts all seemed quite old. Maybe I didn’t use the correct terms. I definitely found posts about connection issues but didn’t find anyone who actually had the app basically disappear or start to say “Pandora isn’t available in your region” upon launch. For me the app isn’t available anymore. I can’t reinstall it. After I uninstalled it, it never reappeared in my available apps to install back onto Sensus. It’s just the same three apps available to install that I had never installed. If I un-install Spotify for example, it just shows up in my New Apps list and allows me to download it again. Not so with Pandora. I’ve not had one issue with it in two years so it had looked like my issue was unique. Thanks for responding!!

I received an email last evening from Pandora customer support advising me that they had remedied this issue. I did two cold starts on my XC60 this a.m., Pandora functioned normally, and I advised them accordingly.

I used OnCall the other day and yeah, they told me it was a known issue and that it would be fixed “soon”. But at this point I still can’t download the app again after I uninstalled it. It just doesn’t show up in the list of apps available to install anymore. On top of that my Download Center now says it can’t connect despite all connected apps working and my internet connection for Weather and Spotify working fine. I’ve tried my in-car sim as well as connected by Bluetooth to my phone and using internet sharing with my phone. This happened once before a few months back with my download center and then when it was time for my service appointment it came back. I was in the middle of a map install which now shows as paused. Apps available for installation are grayed out. So I can only access what I have installed already. And like I said Pandora is no longer in the list of available apps to install. So it’s not even grayed out. It’s just gone. No option to install again.
