Manufacture date

Can someone help me to identify the manufacture date of MY2016? It was delivered on August 2016, but it was assembled in 2015 and I'm curious on the month of assembly. Below is a pic of the identification tag, where I simple cannot find this information… I'm missing something in the tag or should I look somewhere else?

Where is this ID on your Volvo? Is there another placard on your left (or right) “B” pillar inside your driver door?

The build date is usually represented as the structure year and structure week.

Gary, this tag is sticked in the right side column B. That’s the only ID tag that I could find - on the left side there’s only a tag showing tires’ information...

The US manufacturing placard that I have is different and clearer in terms of structure month/week and year.

The best that I can guess is:
2015 - Manufacture year (not Model)
62 - ?? (Manufacture market)
711 - ??
— 16 - ??

Considering that your chassis number is 30692, July 2015 seems accurate as my T8 was built later in Oct. 2015 with a chassis number of 42753.

Hopefully someone can give you a more definitive answer.

Just noted that the trunk carpet part that covers the spare tire shows that It was manufactured in mid Sept 15, so the car for sure was not manufactured before that (probably by the end of Sept/begging of October 2015 or even later). So, Volvo ID Tag for Brazil does not show the manufature date. What a mystery...

I thought the US is month and year for manufacture date. Mine says 04/2018

711 is the paint color code - bright silver metallic and 16 may be the interior color code - off black.

Indeed it’s bright silver, but interior is blonde.
