My carpeted a pillars were starting to peel back so I found a good deal on ebay and ordered up some early 2000s Volvo S60 a pillar trim pcs that have no carpeting. Install was easy.
there are airbags behind the pillar. neat! there is a metal clip at the top of the pillar that releases simply by pulling. There is a fir tree fastener with some plastic "leashes" that theoretically keep the pillar from killing your face in a crash.
mysterious wiring loom socket in the passenger side pillar, anyone have a clue as to what its potential function is?

Here is where things get VERY INTENSE
because the S60 is globally available in LHD and RHD, there is a bracket for the "ticket clip" on both sides, so I got 2 fresh ticket clips to really top off my upgrade

dolla bill in my passenger side ticket clip demonstrating the extreme usefulness of the ticket clip

rather poor iphone 5 panorama
