That's a nice color combo. For anyone considering it the intermittent power seat could just be some light corrosion in the electrical connector. Pull it out and lightly file the pins and spray some die electric grease in there and that may solve it.

The willow green color disappoints me, it's more silver than green, I was hoping for an actual green. A sweet combo would be a more green color with that brown leather.
What is the dash issue? DEM?

For 1250 maybe I'd look at it. Scan with vida, get a new battery and replace the sensor. If the axles are new maybe it was messed up on reinstall.

It's December, suckers. lol

Alright, I suppose I have more reading to do on the P2 VR platform cause I'm wondering at about what mileage do they begin to give problems, what to look for, and any preventative maintenance etc.
Really doesn't have anything to do with mileage. It's all about condition.

That's what I meant but was looking for a run itemized list of stuff that's known to need attention.
If you want a newly purchased P2R to be reliable, most are going to need $2-3500 up front costs to repair and replace worn parts. Always helps to get a PPI, but still. Potential worn parts that might need replacement include 4C suspension, control arm bushings, rotors/pads (consumable), belts, cam seals, VVT hubs, PCV, sump seal, fluids (consumable), wheel hubs, coils/plugs, DEM/diff. pump, radiator/ac condenser, collar sleeve, etc. They make great daily driver cars and the 3 different buttons on the dash add to its fun factor.
Holy cripes. Alright so an 850 it is. Lol. Or I go back to the Toyota/Lexus camp.

Half of that stuff I could do myself, or maybe most of it, but I would need more Volvo specific sockets/torx bits. Thanks for the information, Josh.

My car was just stolen. Can't tell you how down I am. It's a '98 V70 AWD stolen last night in Sacramento county, CA close to Antioch which is in the East Bay. California license plate number 5CRR068. I thought I'd post here since you guys search all kinds of car sites and who knows where it could end up. Unfortunately I don't have a current picture and I'm not sure how to post the ones I do have. It is a rare 396/Dark Grey car with charcoal interior. Even though it's AWD it does not have the cross county trim so it looks like a normal '98 V70. Outside it has a wing, volans, jewel headlights, eggcrate grill. It was lowered and has numerous tweaks under the hood. Front seats are from a C70 and the door panels are not delaminated. Has leather shifter and brake handle. Again to the average guy all this probably just looks like it's supposed to be there, but I know you guys would spot it a mile away so I thought I'd reach out. Thanks to you all for reading. Cheers.

That blows!!
We will for sure. Here's to hoping you get it back with hopefully little to no damage.
